Face pressed to the glass,  I watch the world pass me by, nobody sees me and I don't see them, we sometimes stop to get off or to pick someone up, but what do we care?, it's not like it will matter in the end anyhow.
She stands there, on the upcoming platform, it's strange because I notice her. You don't notice people often, or at least I don't, because they're all people, they all hold their quirks, their fantasies, lies, and honesties, they are not as special and unique as people want each other to believe, as I often wonder to believe. But she is rather plain, on any other day I would have ignored her, or maybe I wouldn't I can't know for sure. But her face her clothes, everything about her seems so plain, so normal. And maybe that's what stands out. The fact that she didn't try to.
Her feet are at the edge of the platform, her body is wavering there, as though the ground is rocking beneath their feet, and yet it is not. So why the waver, the far off gaze as the train approaches? It's almost as if, as if she were about to jump.
My eyes widen, at my sudden realization. She couldn't! But she can. With the train coming at such a speed, we aren't set to stop here, it says so plain as day, but there she is, wavering, wondering, maybe even wishing she can jump into the trains line. Our eyes meet, hers in defeat, mine in fright.
I look around, astonished, gasping for breath, air! To scream! To yell! But nothing. I am hyperventilating. I cannot breath. I see the blank faces, I see the zoned gazes, the powerful unreality that envelops a person, as it had me.
Again a realization. But for me. about me. I slam against the person next to me. and roughly jostle a few more, because like I had been, they did not move, because they did not care for my agenda, like I had not cared for others. I reach for the pully. I practically snap it off it's string.
I see her jump. Her body falling like a ton of bricks to the rails on the ground. I gasp. Don't get her, unknowing I'd screamed. Heads turn, as the train stops, heads turn as I rush outside, and step in front.  She lay on the ground, but not crumpled and squished, she looks up and smiles, silver tears falling from her eyes, I notice for the first time, the silver white gold wings vanishing from my sight, almost as if they had never been, but knowing what it is I had seen, her pale pink lips part with that smile, as her words part and penetrate my heart,
"I'd hoped you'd stop the train."
